Current Series
When we think of the Christmas story in the Bible, we normally think of angels, shepherds, a stable. Or maybe we think about Wise Men following a star. That’s how the Gospel of Luke and Matthew tell the story, respectively. But that’s not how the Gospel of John begins. None of those things appear. No Mary and Joseph. Not even the name Jesus. Instead John refers to Jesus by three other names—Word, Light, Son. And this is where we’re going to spend our time in Advent reflecting.
